She will also give suggestions on colour combinations, highlights and shadows to build depth. Every single beginner who has sat in our studio has left with an artwork they were proud to display. No exceptions, no art skills required, only the willingness to try.

You're not paying for a 90-minute class and a trinket. You're paying for a no rush one-to-one guided time painting on real preserved Thai lotus leaves. It is a personalised consultation about your space and your preferred palette — a display-worthy artwork designed for a specific wall in your home. Many guests specifically choose this workshop because they want intentional time to themselves away from work and busy schedule to unwind and chill!

It depends on the size of the canvas. One session typically runs 3 to 4 hours. We know that sounds like a real commitment, but it's the length of a dinner out or a movie. There is no pressure to complete and you can always schedule to come back to have another chill time. But in the end you leave with a personalised artwork that will live in your home for years. Most importantly, we work at your pace, never the clock's.

Lotus leaf painting is a traditional Thai art form using real preserved lotus leaves as the primary medium. In this workshop, we offer the leaf skeleton for painting. Unlike paintings on canvas or paper, each lotus leaf has a unique natural texture: vein patterns, subtle variation, organic edges. You paint directly on the leaf skeleton surface using techniques adapted for beginners, and the result is a personalised textured artwork that looks nothing like anything in a mass-market store.
